    General Clarifications

    April 2
    Numerical calculations should be written out. The assignment does not necessarily need to be hand-written—it can be typed.

    March 27
    There is an error in the CPT for bronchitis in Question 2. To fix it, I have recreated the pdf of the assignment and reposted it. Please re-download the assignment. (Make sure to refresh your browser so you get the updated copy.) The corrected version is identifiable by the phrase "Revised March 27, 2014" that appears in the upper right-hand corner of page 1. My apologies for the error and thank you to the student who pointed it out.

    Mar 31 You should provide numbers to illustrate your argument that a part of the Bayes Net exhibits explaining away.
